Information we receive

When you contact us, we receive the details you include, such as your name, email and message. Our hosting provider receives technical information needed to deliver and protect the site, including IP addresses, request times and error records.

Cookies and analytics

Essential storage remembers your privacy choice. Optional analytics stay off until you accept them. You can choose Accept analytics, Reject optional or Customize, then change your choice anytime in Cookie preferences at the bottom of any page. We respect Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track for optional analytics.

We count public page requests on our servers to understand overall traffic and improve the site. This creates daily totals by site and broad page category, without a visitor identifier, IP address, stock symbol or individual browsing history in the counter. It does not use tracking cookies or send these counts to Google. Totals expire after 90 days. Turn off Anonymous page counts in Cookie preferences, or choose Reject optional. We also respect Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track. The first request may already be included before you make a choice; anonymous totals cannot be linked back to you for removal. Hosting and security logs remain separate.

Google Analytics helps us understand visits, traffic sources and clicks to the Vaniras app. Google receives browser and device information, an IP address with requests, and cookie identifiers. We do not send Google your email, stock symbols, message contents or account identifiers. We do not sell personal information or use advertising cookies, Google advertising features or tracking between our two domains.

Retention and withdrawal

We remember your choice for 180 days. Google analytics cookies last up to 180 days without extension on each visit. Google event and user data is retained for 2 months, without renewal on activity; aggregated reports have separate retention. Withdrawing stops future analytics and removes Google cookies, but does not automatically delete data Google already received.

We keep correspondence as needed to answer and maintain a record of your request. Hosting logs and backups follow the provider's retention schedules. You can contact us to request deletion.

Use and service providers

We use information to run and secure the website, respond to you and improve the site using anonymous totals and, with your permission, optional analytics. Vercel hosts the site, Upstash stores anonymous totals for Vaniras, and Google provides optional analytics. Our communications providers process messages you send us. Optional analytics relies on your consent; service and security processing supports your requests, protects the website and meets applicable obligations.

Providers may process information in the United States and other countries, where privacy protections may differ. We may disclose information when required by law or to protect our users and service.

Your rights and contact

Depending on where you live, you may request access, correction, deletion or a copy of your information, and object to or restrict certain uses. Email support@vaniras.com. We may need to verify your identity. Rejecting analytics does not prevent you from using the site.

This site is not intended for children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information. No online service can guarantee absolute security. We will update this page when our practices change and request a new analytics choice when needed.
