What is a stock?
A stock represents an ownership interest in a company. Shareholder rights depend on the share class. Common shares may carry voting rights; dividends depend on the company's decisions and are not guaranteed. Share prices can fall, including to zero. These basic definitions and risks are explained by the SEC's Investor.gov stock guide.
An observation is not a promise
A last-traded price records a completed trade; it is not necessarily the midpoint between the best bid and ask. A bid is an offered buying price and an ask is an offered selling price. The difference is the spread. A quote on a research website can be delayed or stale and does not guarantee the price of a future transaction.
On Vaniras, check the date attached to the observed market price. The latest-session percentage change compares eligible market observations. If the necessary observations are stale or unavailable, the change can remain unavailable.
Read company information in context
Company profiles, industry classifications, earnings, valuation measures and filings answer different research questions. Each financial measure needs a period and a definition. A missing value is not zero. A high or low descriptive score is not a recommendation to buy or sell.
Use the company directory to find a business you want to understand. Open its official filings and company links where provided. Do not assume that every company has the same data coverage.
Keep model estimates separate
The forecast starting price is frozen at issuance. The Median Estimate is the model's central estimate at a particular future target date. It is not the observed price or an analyst consensus.
The model uses 3, 6, 9 and 12-month horizons. Free horizon access follows the current membership policy; additional horizons require eligible Plus or Pro membership. Purchase availability depends on the payment provider and completed activation checks. Read how to interpret dates, forecast ranges and horizons before comparing them. A forecast does not remove market risk or establish a profitable trading strategy.
