Uncertainty ranges
Lower, median, and upper target-date estimates that show model uncertainty when available.
In plain language
Lower, median, and upper values are target-date model estimates. They do not form a guaranteed trading range or a forecast path.
What to check
- A wider range means the model output is less concentrated, not that a loss is certain.
- A range applies to the stated target date only.
- If no lower or upper estimate is available, the interface must not invent a range.
